An Appeal To My Fellow Pastors / by Chuck Baldwin (November 6, 2007)

26 11 2007

The following is an excerpt from a column written by Chuck Baldwin a Radio Talk Show host, syndicated columnist, and pastor dedicated to preserving the historic principles upon which America was founded:

Recently, Iowa pastors gathered to hear my presentation in Des Moines on behalf of Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul. After listening to me, they then heard ten-term Republican Texas Congressman Ron Paul himself.

Consider how Congressman Paul’s message impacted Pastor Jim Hartman of the Assembly of God church in Conrad, Iowa. “I’ve been supporting Mike Huckabee, but I would say I’m leaning real strong toward Ron Paul.” Hartman supported President Bush four years ago and explained, “Up until the last six months I had not allowed myself to imagine that we’d been let down by Bush.” As for Iraq, he said, “I don’t think we were prepared to understand that culture and to work with that culture.” He said he now feels “humble and I feel kind of bad that I haven’t done a better job of being faithful to Ron Paul’s kind of integrity.” [Source: MSNBC, Oct. 30, 2007] Read the rest of this entry »

Mandatory Suicide Screening

25 11 2007

There is a psychiatric / pharmaceutical plan to “suicide screen” every child in the United States before  they graduate from high school. Evidence exists that shows massive pharmaceutical backing  that will result in even more overdrugging of kids with psychiatric drugs. Can you take a moment to view this very short video?  Click here:

And then sign and forward this petition
http://www.petitiononline.com/TScreen/petition.html to your associates and everyone you know?  It already has over 23,000 signatures. It’s simply a race to inform enough parents so something can be done about this. Read the rest of this entry »

Money Makes the Shots Go Round in School?

What could the possible motivation be to threaten parents with jail time for not getting their children hepatitis B and chicken pox vaccines? (Those should be optional shouldn’t they??)

70-year-old Woman Arrested for Brown Lawn. What an Outrage!

16 11 2007

Betty Perry is a 70-year-old widow and great-grandmother living in Orem, Utah. Without warning, she was arrested on July 6, 2007. As reported by CNN.com, during the arrest, which included handcuffing the senior citizen, Perry’s nose was cut open and her knees and hands were scraped. She was then thrown in jail, where she remained for over an hour before being released.

Her crime: Failure to water her lawn and resisting arrest. Read the rest of this entry »

Dr. Ron Paul Has the Prescription Every American Needs / by Sandra Hamilton

16 11 2007

rx1.gif

If Americans have Stockholm Syndrome, Dr. Ron Paul has the cure. Stockholm syndrome is a psychological response sometimes seen in an abducted hostage, in which the hostage shows signs of loyalty to the hostage-taker, regardless of the danger (or at least risk) in which the hostage has been placed. Stockholm syndrome is also sometimes discussed in reference to other situations with similar tensions, such as battered person syndrome and the prisoner/interrogator relationship. As I watch the field of Presidential candidates and the way the American people respond to them, it appears to me as if many Americans have a form of Stockholm syndrome. It seems the people have been abused for so long that they no longer believe in their wonderful American heritage of liberty and have taken to being satisfied with less and less freedom. Then, these citizens actively protect the very politicians that are working to usurp their freedom.

Freedom is a precious thing. Once lost it is very difficult to get back. Read the rest of this entry »

I’ve already shared about my experience at the Springfield, Missouri Straw Poll on November 1st. It is obvious that Springfield, Missouri has strong support for Ron Paul—already—and the election is a whole year away. People in Branson and outlying areas are also seeing the light as this grassroots movement continues to grow. Read the rest of this entry »

Here is a link to a 5-minute video on YouTube (plus 2 other local videos) that will give you an idea of what the local Straw Poll in Springfield, Missouri on November 1st was all about. It was a precursor to the upcoming primary which will take place in February here in Missouri.

Ron Paul “Crushes Opposition” in Springfield, MO GOP Straw Poll

4 11 2007

Since deciding to join the Ron Paul campaign (I support him in a very big way!), I have been very pleased with the local Ron Paul Meetup Group and everything that Ron Paul stands for. Books could be written about him.

As soon as I made contact with Mark “Majic” Jones (a strong Ron Paul supporter), I learned there was a straw poll being conducted in Springfield, Missouri, at the Library Center. It was held the very next day on November 1, 2007. It was hosted by the Springfield Metro Republican Club.

I had no idea what to expect, but when I got there, the parking lot was FULL. There were Ron Paul signs EVERYWHERERead the rest of this entry »

Ron Paul Gets My Vote!

4 11 2007

ronpaulportrait.jpg

Although it is a year until the 2008 election and a couple months before the first primaries are held, I have made up my mind as to who I will support. Ron Paul holds a strict view of the U.S. constitution. He is against government overstepping its bounds. He wants to clean up some of the big messes that have been made in government in the last several decades (if not before). And he is a fervent Christian.

Congressman Ron Paul from Texas is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. He has an impeccable voting history: Read the rest of this entry »

The John Birch Society—Champion for Freedom?

3 11 2007

All my life I have heard of the John Birch Society and its followers, sometimes called “John Birchers.” From what I had always understood, the group began through the vision and influence of a man named John Birch (hence the name). It was founded on good principles designed to champion the causes and freedoms of all Americans. But somewhere along the way, it has been said that the John Birch Society (JBS) developed a bad reputation. Not true. Read the rest of this entry »
